Live Acoustic Music around Loughborough, UK

A way of encouraging talented performers to take things a bit further. I offer stereo recordings to the performers to let them hear themselves from the audience's perspective and to give them something they can use to themselves. I can also sometimes offer photographs taken by friends.

What type of music?
The gig is billed as "Live Acoustic..." and that is all I am strict about. There won't be recorded accompaniment or instruments plugged in or sounds processed. I use a sound reinforcement system that simply makes the performances audible at the back without changing the sound at all. I went to great lengths to obtain a natural sound.

Originally from Hull, Steve Pinnock is a mesmerising and truly innovative guitarist to watch. Influenced by the likes of Antonio Forcione, Al De Meola and Tuck Andress he has stretched the potential of the acoustic guitar beyond normal boundaries to turn it into an instrument exploding with jaw-dropping harmonic and percussion sound.

Hi, we are Neil and Julie Smith. We have lived in and around Mansfield all of our lives. Neil has played solo and in bands from his late teens but the duo began 1997 one night at the Brown Cow Folk Club in Mansfield when Julie decided that she wanted to sing.
